Frenship boys grab lead at district tourney
Frenship golf has taken the early lead after the first round of the District 4-4A boys golf tournament, held Tuesday at Plainview Country Club.

The Tigers A team is in first place with a score of 299, 13 strokes ahead of the school's B team at 312. Big Spring is a close third at 313 while Plainview's A squad is fourth with a 323.
Frenship's early surge was led by Tristan Plaut, who leads the individual chase with a 67. He is ahead of Plainview's Channon Allen by two strokes, while Big Spring's Andrew Fillingim is within striking distance in third with a 74.
The next round will take place April 2 at Diamondback Golf Club in Plainview.
